The FuturGas Project will provide employment both during and after construction, as well as significantly increased income for the region's service providers. The company will implement an open and transparent consultation process with local authorities, community groups, landowners and government to ensure that the FuturGas Project maximises the potential benefits to the local and regional communities and goes beyond simple compliance with laws and regulations governing environmental management. With respect to groundwater, the company will seek to implement strategies which complement and potentially enhance local and regional groundwater management programs being undertaken by the relevant authorities.
